The Corn Palace and Circle Ten Campsite

After the exciting Jolly Green Giant sighting, we were also blessed to stop in Mitchell South Dakota to see the outside of the Corn Palace. It had closed only moments before we got there. As you can imagine were devastated that we were unable to tour the inside = ) But you can see from the picture that it was quite the spectacle = ) We then traveled many miles and around dark we made it to the beginning of the badlands. We wanted to see them in the day of course so we stopped and filled up with gas, and went across the street to the Circle Ten Campground. For only ten dollars we had a campsite with electric, water, hot showers, and even a laundry. We took showers (much needed = ) and then did a load of laundry. It was off to bed then to prepare for the travels to come.

p.s. added some picures of the jolly green giant and Sioux Falls = )
